Come see the celebration of Mexico's independence from France with a parade and soccer tournament. The parade has intricately designed floats with folkloric dancers dressed in brilliantly designed and colored costumes.

Enjoy premier Tejano and mariachi music while you sample the best Mex-Tex food in the state. Each year both old and new recipes are tried and tested to determine bragging rights. Bring your appetite, and come out to experience the tasty delights!

This event brings smiles to everyone's face with the camaraderie, food, drinks and celebration. The community gathers to show its support and love of America. Come out and listen to the symphony performance building up to a grand fireworks display after dark. Festivities take place at Centennial Plaza in downtown Midland and at First American Bank Ballpark in the Scharbauer Sports Complex. 

MS CACTUS AND CRUDE BIKE TOUR

This two-day, 150 mile bicycle tour starts in Midland and raises money for the MS Society.

AUGUST
