MIDLAND ARTS ASSOCIATION
www.midlandartsassociation.org
midlandarts@cox.net
Midland Arts Association offers two juried art shows each
year. The spring exhibit is in collaboration with the Museum
of the Southwest. Slide entries are accepted and juried
by a different well-known artist each spring. The
exhibit usually hangs during March or April. The fall exhibit
is in conjunction with Midland College and is exhibited in
McCormick Gallery in the Allison Fine Arts Building on campus.
This show accepts the actual works to be juried, rather than
slides. Works are delivered to the campus, juried by a
well-known artist and exhibited. The fall show usually
hangs during October. Each of the MAA shows offers more than
$2500 in cash awards. Both shows are an excellent way
for beginning and experienced artists to have their work
displayed.
